Who it's for
Choose the Premium Detail if the paint feels rough after a wash, the car has never been decontaminated, it is a dark color that shows every spot, or you want protection that lasts longer than a ceramic spray. It is also a good reset before winter or before you sell the car.

What is the difference between the Full Detail and the Premium Detail?
The Premium Detail includes everything in the Full Detail, plus an iron treatment and clay towel decontamination on the paint, and a longer-lasting sealant in place of the ceramic spray. The decontamination step removes bonded dirt that a normal wash leaves behind, so the paint feels smooth and the sealant bonds better.
How long does the sealant last?
The sealant is made to protect for up to about 6 months. How long it really lasts depends on weather, how often the car is washed, and the soap used. Seattle rain, road film and harsh soaps wear it down faster. A regular maintenance wash helps it last.
Is this a ceramic coating?
No. It is a spray-on paint sealant. It adds gloss and helps water bead, and it lasts longer than a ceramic spray, but it is not a multi-year ceramic coating.
Does it remove scratches or swirl marks?
No. Clay removes bonded contamination from the surface of the paint. Scratches and swirl marks need machine polishing, which is not part of this package.
How long does a Premium Detail take?
Plan for 3 to 5 hours. The time depends on the size and condition of the vehicle. Larger vehicles and heavily contaminated paint take longer.
Can I move to a maintenance plan afterward?
Yes. Many customers start with a Premium Detail, then switch to a maintenance plan to keep the car looking that way. See the maintenance plans page for prices.
